Advanced knowledge gives us an advantage. If you know it’s going to rain, you can have your umbrella handy. If you know what you will be tested on, you can pin point what to study. If you know there is an accident up ahead, you can take a detour. Any time you get advanced knowledge, you can get prepared and be in a better position to win. The insight we receive is given by the Holy Spirit because God wants us to win. “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV) Each day, when we take the time to communicate with and concentrate on Him, God reveals things to us. What He reveals may seem irrelevant at the time, but when we begin to suit up for battle, we understand He was preparing us. Let’s get in His presence through prayer, praise and worship daily where we can receive the advanced knowledge we need to get in our set positions to win.
