“And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, it is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:1-4
How Ministry is Done
Senior Pastor
Our pastor is a divine gift from God. Pastor is to serve the body of Christ and our local assembly by providing the vision for the church and caring for the flock. Pastor's role is to teach and preach the Word of God in such a way so the members can be strengthened, sanctified, and equipped to carry out the specific vision of our local assembly and their individual destinies as the spirit of God inspires and as the Pastor imparts. Pastor counsels members and leads the charge of the local church as the ministry lead servant.
Assistant Pastor
Our assistant pastor is a divine gift from God. This is to serve the body of Christ and our local assembly by assisting the Pastor with the vision for the church and caring for the flock. The assistant pastor's role is to teach and preach the Word of God in such a way so the members can be strengthened, sanctified, and equipped to carry out the specific vision of our local assembly and their individual destinies as the spirit of God inspires and as the Pastor imparts. The Assistant Pastor counsels members and leads the charge of the local church as the ministry lead servant.
Elders
Elders serve as an extension of the Pastor in caring for the membership. Each Elder, along with a Deacon, serves a zone which is determined by each member’s last name. Elders function as a representative of the Pastor in caring for members and their families in time of crisis. Elders serve as a spiritual counselor based on Biblical principles. Elders are responsible for carrying out a variety of services in the Pastor’s absence. Elders uplift the Pastor and the vision of the Pastor for the church in prayer and serve diligently to help bring the vision to past.
Deacons
Deacons are a further extension of our pastor in caring for the membership. Each Deacon is assigned about a fifth of an Elder’s zone to watch and care for. They are responsible for reaching out to the members within their zone and expressing the love of Pastor by connecting with them on a regular basis. Our spirit-filled Deacons celebrate the members’ praise reports to God as well as pray for and with the members.
