A Bully's Hero

Written by KCC Devotion Team  |  Found in: Family

“Now we who are strong out to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves.” Romans 15:1 (NASB)

School can be tough for our children. During this time, they witness many things that can be scary or confusing to them. One of the scariest and most confusing things that many school-aged children will witness (or experience) is bullying. More than ever, we must teach our children about doing what’s right. When other people don’t have a voice, we must empower our children to have a voice for them. This doesn’t mean for them to get into a fight or anything like that, but telling a teacher, counselor, or an administrator about the situation is a great start. We never want our children to think that it is okay to turn a blind eye to hatred. Research shows that people feel that it is not their responsibility to help people who need assistance, or they feel that someone else will help. That someone else must be us, the God-fearing people!
