Be an Ambassador

Written by KCC Devotion Team  |  Found in: Witnessing

"And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:" Mark 3:14-15

We are called to follow Christ and all His teachings and to obey His commandments. He called all His followers forth to (preach) tell the good news of salvation to others. He called us to heal the infirmities of those who are sick and to drive out from the lives of His people everything that is not Christ-like (to cast out devils). Jesus has this confidence in us that we can do all these things in His name. If we never witness or go forth as we have been called, things will go undone - lives will be untouched, infirmities will go unhealed, and devils will go unmoved remaining where they should not be. Not fulfilling our role may cause someone else to remain hungry, sick, or lost - leaving them in the same state as before we crossed paths with them. For this reason, we must be ambassadors and witness in the highways and the hedges telling others about Jesus.
