Differently Abled Fun Fair (DAFF)

Written by KCC Devotion Team  |  Found in: Community Service

“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 (NIV)

As Christians, we should always have hope for all types of people, no matter what physical, emotional, or mental challenges he or she may face. God has already conquered every sickness and disease when Jesus died on the cross. As illustrated during the Differently Abled Fun Fair (DAFF), we should have hope and believe for the Lord to do a mighty work in the lives of those who are forgotten or overlooked. As believers, we should also keep in mind that the light of Jesus should shine through our lives. The main purpose of the DAFF was to give people who have profound mental and physical disabilities the opportunity to have a great time. In the future, DAFF is a great opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ to members of the community and their families. Isn’t it great to know that we are a part of God’s vision? Just as the scripture points out, Jesus is the only person who can make the impossible become possible.
