Executive Boards

Written by KCC Devotion Team  |  Found in: Community Service

"Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others." Philippians 2:1-4 (NIV)

God has blessed all of us with a talent – for some, more than one talent. We have recently learned how to tap into our talents to become small business owners, owners of non-profits, and franchisees. Many of these businesses need individuals to serve on their executive boards. Seize this great opportunity to help someone by offering your expertise in that capacity. This is a great way to provide leadership based on your experiences and the teachings of the Bible. God did not bless us with talents so that we could keep them to ourselves. We were blessed with talents, so we could glorify Him and advance the Kingdom of God. The more Christians we have in leadership positions, the better opportunity we have to witness to people about the goodness of God, and the more money we can continue to filter through our communities.
