Guided by the Light of Truth
“However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears, He will speak, and He will tell you things to come.” John 16:13 (New King James Version)
The Holy Spirit is not only left for us but He’s with us. He can only speak the truth for He speaks only what God speaks. In Heaven, there are “meetings” about us. God trusts us to trust Him and has even left us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the mouthpiece to what He hears from heaven. What God says, He repeats. We don’t have to wonder, question, or think twice about it. This type of relationship requires that we be an active participant. We must activate our faith to know that when we pray, God hears it (Psalm 34:17), that if we come to God with our requests and not be anxious for anything (Philippians 4:6) and to even allow vengeance to belong only to God (Romans 12:19) and that God has allowed guidance to come by way of His Holy Spirit (John 16:13), then of whom shall we be afraid. We literally have all of heaven on our side. Now that’s reason to celebrate!
