His Plans vs. Our Plans

Written by KCC Devotion Team  |  Found in: Success Through Business

"’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

We often hear the Bible verse about God knowing the plans that He has designed for us. At that moment, the verse sounds very promising, especially when it comes to managing a business which takes dedication and hard work. We have a lot of hopes and dreams but everything isn’t going to come easy. We understand God’s plan when it comes to past but what happens when our plans have a delay? Do we give up or keep going? Of course in our minds, we know that we need to persevere but sometimes when dreams are not coming to past according to the time frame that we think, we still should always trust in the Lord. Even when we cannot always see the finish product of our faith, we should still trust God. God’s plan is bigger than us, so we need to stay diligent and passionate and do all we can do until we get directions from Christ.
