Seeds of Salvation

Written by KCC Devotion Team  |  Found in: Sharing Our Faith

“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10

You must seize every opportunity to tell others of the love of Jesus Christ and Jesus’ plan for their lives.  Jesus’ sole purpose was to seek those who were ignorant of Him, and afterwards save them from an approaching doom.  Today, there are still millions who need to know about the love of Jesus, and it is our job as Christians to share this love with others.  There are many things that try to rob us of the opportunity to share the message of Christ, and we must determine to make witnessing a top priority in our lives.  Jesus came to seek and to save, and all of us will fall into one of the categories of finding those who need Christ or leading others to salvation.  Whether seeking or saving, Jesus Christ will be glorified.  You are placed within your job, home, or classroom environment to be an earthly example of your savior Jesus. We must seize every opportunity to sow seeds of salvation in the hearts of those who are lost.  A caring word, a smile or hug are all examples of ways that we can share God’s love.  Our spiritual abilities may differ, but through each gifting is the mandate to share the Gospel with the lost.  If we are not winning souls, we are missing a significant character trait of Jesus Christ.  The gift of salvation is too good to keep to yourself.  Make sure that you are living your life in such a way, that your good works point directly to Jesus Christ.
