Koinonia Christian Center

General Course Descriptions

Below is a list of classes we offer at Koinonia.

Growth Track

Classes must be taken in the order and the entire process must be completed prior to serving in ministry.

New Members Class

We are grateful to everyone who expresses an interest in joining the Koinonia family, and we would love for you to become an owner of the vision of our church. We want to know who you are and also want to share a few things about us and what we expect from you before you become an official Koinonian. To start the process, we offer New Membership class. In this two day session, you’ll learn about Koinonia’s history and purpose, vision, and your responsibility as a member.

Class Schedule:  2 sessions that meet for 3 hours each over a weekend.

Class 1: Foundations of Faith

Start your process with the perfect class for Christians to learn about the benefits of salvation and how to study the Bible. Foundations is designed for those who have recently accepted Christ as their personal Savior or for those who need rebuilding. At the end of the class, you will have the tools to stand firm in your faith.

Class 2: Becoming A Follower of Christ

Now that you have a firm foundation, learn how to build a personal relationship with God through prayer, praise, worship and wisdom from the Word of God.

Class 3: Becoming A Contagious Christian

Sharing our faith with others can be frightening, but remember God did not give us a spirit of fear. Evangelism will prepare you to share your faith and lead non-believers to Christ.

Class 4: Finding Your S.H.A.P.E. in Ministry

We are all shaped differently so that God can use us for His Glory. Discover how your Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experiences SHAPE you for ministry at Koinonia.
