“And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.” 1 Thessalonians 5:14 (NIV)
It is evident just by watching current events on the news and social media that our world is becoming more and more divided. Some of our government officials are making decisions solely based on their biases and prejudices. Students in middle or high school can utilize their voices to make a substantial change. Participating in various school-affiliated organizations is a great opportunity to make changes by spreading love and positivity. Most schools have organizations such as the Student Government Association, where you can help change school rules and policies. Volunteering with local governmental elections is also an option. All students, please get involved and fight for what you believe in and to be a voice for individuals who have been silenced.
