In Zechariah 14:16-17, it says that all the families of the people of God went up year to year to worship and present themselves to the Lord because they wanted the rain of God on their families. We assign meaning to this time every year to establish the commitment of our household.
This Father’s Day, we invite you to celebrate the fathers in your life, whether by blood or bond, during a special time of prayer. Join us on Sunday, June 15, at 9 AM or 12 PM for a heartfelt gathering God dropped in the heart of our pastor. . Summer Baptism
A baptism is an illustration of what happens spiritually when we receive Christ. The act of baptism says I have made a decision to die (go down in the water) to my old way of living and I come up (out of water) alive in Christ to live for Him. Why is this important? The baptism is an ordinance given to us by Jesus for all who have accepted Him to follow (Matthew 28:19-28) and expressed our union with Christ in his death and resurrection (Romans 6:3-6) Members of Koinonia who have not been baptized since accepting Christ or since becoming a member of Koinonia, we welcome you to participate in this sacred time of dedication back to our Father on Saturday, June 21 at 10 am! S3 Camp 2025
S3 Summer Camp 2025 will be held at Camp Mundo Vista in Sophia, NC from July 7 - July 12. This camp is designed specifically for youth creating an atmosphere for them to grow closer to God and closer with each other. Youth will engage in daily worship, small group sessions, & devotional times. Sessions will also include team building, team challenges, and even a variety of fun outdoor activities like swimming, archery, zip lining and more. Our young people will have endless fun, create life-long memories with friends, and mostly have an encounter with God that will impact their lives forever. The cost is $300 per teen and includes travel, lodging, and meals. The price is unbeatable and the experience will be unforgettable! Camp is open to teens ages 13 - 19. Don't you miss it!
