This day is all about serving culture and collaboration. This training is designed for all Volunteers, Department Leaders, Ministry Leaders, Assistant Leaders, Life Group Leaders. Together, we’ll strengthen our understanding of what it means to serve the Koinonia way, learn how to better navigate KCC ministries, and discover how we can collaborate more effectively across ministry teams.

This is more than another meeting. it’s about building a stronger culture and learning how to serve better, together, so we want all serving members to be in place!

Something BIG is happening at Koinonia on August 23! Join us for FX: The Family Experience and Launchpad Grade Promotion Encounter—a high-energy celebration for the entire family!

During FX, our youth performing arts students will lead us in worship and showcase their God-given gifts and talents throughout the encounter. We’ll also celebrate our children through Launchpad as they prepare to move into their new grade levels and begin an exciting new season.

Youth Dance - This year, we will have a special dance performance from our youth. Boys and girls ages 6 to 12 are invited to join our dance group! Register your child at this link. 

Youth Choir - Calling all young singers. Our youth choir will lead the worship encounter in song at both the 9am & 12pm encounters on Sunday, August 23. The Youth Choir is open to students K - 12th grade. If you would like for your child to be a part please register your child at this link. 

Singles, get ready—Game Night is back, and it’s about to be a whole vibe! Join us Saturday, August 22, from 6:00–9:30 PM for karaoke and music bingo with Trickey Finch, plus card games, board games, great food, and plenty of friendly competition. Come for the games, stay for the music, and leave with new friends and great memories! Tickets are just $5 and include light refreshments.

Hey S3 family, let's wrap up summer together with an End of Summer Fun Night. Join us Wednesday, August 19th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sawyer's Fun Park in Winterville. The cost is just $15 per person, gets you unlimited laser tag, trampoline park, spin zone, rock wall, and ropes course. It's open to all middle and high school students.

Do you have a passion for worship through movement? Have you ever wanted to learn more about praise dance and how to minister through dance?

Join us for an exciting and spirit-filled Praise Dance Workshop where participants will learn dance techniques, worship expression, choreography, ministry etiquette, and the biblical foundation of dance as worship.

This workshop will be on Saturday, August 1 from 9am-1pm in the Journey. It is open to youth, teens, adults, beginners, and experienced dancers. Come ready to move, learn, grow, and worship! Lunch will be provided.

Koinonia family, due to inclement weather, our Food Truck Rodeo scheduled for Saturday, July 25 has been postponed. The safety of our members, guests, vendors, and volunteers is our priority. Ready to take the next step in faithful financial stewardship? Koinonia is excited to offer Investing as a Faithful Steward, a next-step class designed for those who are financially stable and ready to grow in wisdom, strategy, and purpose with what God has placed in their hands.

This class is for individuals and couples who want to learn how to think beyond budgeting, build with intention, and approach investing through the lens of faith, stewardship, and long-term impact.

Classes will begin on Monday, July 13, at 6:00 PM and will continue on July 20, August 3, and August 10. Each session will begin at 6:00 PM and last approximately 90 minutes. A virtual attendance option will be available for KCC E-Church members.

Registration is $59 for individuals and $69 for husband and wife registration. If you are ready to move from financial peace into financial growth, this class is a great next step.

Financial peace starts with a plan! Koinonia is excited to offer Financial Peace University, a practical class designed to help individuals and families take control of their finances, build healthy money habits, reduce debt, and move toward greater stewardship and freedom.

Whether you are just getting started, trying to reset, or ready to grow in wisdom with your money, this class will give you tools you can use in everyday life.

Registration is $39 for individuals and $49 for husband and wife registration. Don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your financial future and take your next step toward peace, purpose, and good stewardship.

Koinonia Singles, get ready! Join us Sunday, June 28 at 4 PM for the ultimate co-ed Singles Ministry Adult Field Day happening in and around The Journey. This will not be your average field day. We are bringing together strategy, teamwork, table games, outdoor challenges, friendly competition, and plenty of moments to laugh, connect, and build community.

KCC invites you to join us for the "Sleeves Up! Red, White & You" Blood Drive on Sunday, June 28th from 9am to 2pm in The Journey. Every blood and platelet donation has the power to help save lives, support trauma victims, assist patients battling cancer and sickle cell disease, and provide hope to those facing medical emergencies. Some blood types are especially rare and critically needed, making every donor essential. We can make a lasting impact together but we need your help! Get ready to experience the thrill of the game as the Differently Abled Fun Fair (DAFF), spearheaded by Pastor Trev & Lady Martha Evans, Pastors Shondell & Christy Jones, and the Koinonia Church family, gears up for its annual celebration on May 16, 2026, at the Greenville Convention Center. This year’s theme, "World of Sports", promises a day of fun and excitement inspired by the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.

For over 16 years, DAFF has been a beacon of joy and support for our VIPS individuals with severe and profound mental and physical disabilities, along with their immediate families and caregivers ONLY, in Eastern North Carolina and beyond. This cherished event is designed to provide our VIP guests with a safe, supportive, and celebratory environment where they can enjoy tailored games, experiences, delicious food, and a spectacular carnival atmosphere for their siblings and parents. DAFF’s mission is to ensure that our VIPs and their families feel accepted, loved, and remembered.

Bless the Bikers is happening Sunday, May 3 at the 12 Noon Encounter, and we’re inviting the entire biker community to be a part. Whether you ride sport bikes, cruisers, trikes, Can-Am, Slingshots, or T-Rex, this is for you.

S3 Student Ministry is bringing you an exciting, fun-filled family event… the Old School vs. New School Basketball Game! Watch as our S3 teens go head-to-head with our KCC adults in an epic showdown on the court. Will the New School bring the speed and energy? Or will the Old School prove they’ve still got game?

This event is dedicated to supporting the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of veterans by addressing their unique challenges in a compassionate and impactful way. With a focus on fostering renewal, growth, and connection, the event creates a meaningful space for healing, guided by the scripture theme, "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2).
