S3 is about leaders, informing our youth that you are called to lead in your generation. Bishop O’neal stated that, “Our youth are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today.” From the example of the Hebrew boys in Daniel 3, Bishop O’neal designed S3 to be a ministry where students learn that their faith empowers them to make an impact for God. Youth learn that not only does our salvation rescue us from the penalty of sin, but it empowers us to make bold moves for Christ. Just like the youth in Daniel 3 stood in the face of danger refusing to be moved by what was trending, popular, or current in their time so that they could boldly stand for God; we believe that our youth are called by God to make equally bold stands today. With that stance, S3 charges you to: Stand Up, Stand Out, & Stand Above!
